Chirripó National Park

Apart from the challenge of climbing Costa Rica’s highest peak, Cerro Chirripó, this park boasts miles and miles of hiking trails that wind through more ecological zones than you can typically find in most countries. The peak itself is 12,533 feet (3,820 meters) above sea level and on a clear day, you can see spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean sea simultaneously.
